What I cherish this week:<\/strong><\/p>\n Family. Had a lovely meal with the closest members of the tribe at one of our\u00a0favorite restaurants<\/a>\u00a0as a belated birthday present to me. It’s a treasured day every year, and this one was great. Thank you.<\/p>\n What I am listening to:<\/strong><\/p>\n One of my go-to playlists: French Jazz, it soothes my soul and helps me feel centered during the day.<\/p>\n What I am reading:<\/strong><\/p>\n World Enough & Time: On Creativity and Slowing Down by Christian McEwen – this is a lovely book, meant to be read in fits and starts. Taking pieces of wisdom from artists, scholars, and writers, each section allows you time to contemplate how to be slower in this crazy world.\u00a0 The title is also a line known from a 17th-century poem by Andrew Marvell<\/a><\/p>\n The quote that sums it up for me in the now:<\/strong><\/p>\n “To achieve, you need thought.
